Bushey exists because Barry Lewington and Maggie Cheung , kept watching the same thing happen on enterprise transformation programmes, the delivery partner would manage activity well and still leave the executive sponsor holding the risk when something went wrong. The standards on the page didn’t match what showed up in the room. The environment changes. The standards we hold ourselves to don’t.
With careers built across global consulting firms and major transformation programmes, we came together to build a business centred on accountability, delivery, and trust.

Meet the co-founders
Barry Lewington
A Certified, Chartered IT Professional, with 25+ years of experience spanning corporate, service provider, and public sector environments, Barry has held senior leadership roles including CTO, Technology Director, and Principal Consultant, delivering digital transformation programmes across more than 40 countries. His cross-sector expertise, from financial services, manufacturing to retail and government, gives him a rare breadth of perspective. In 2024, Barry co-founded Bushey with Maggie Cheung to deliver specialist transformation advisory and leadership services to organisations that demand genuine accountability, not just oversight.

With 20+ years of operational and delivery expertise across financial services, technology, and a broad range of industries, Maggie has been at the heart of major programmes within multinational corporate organisations. Instrumental in developing core delivery frameworks and processes, she ensures every Bushey engagement is structured, disciplined, and held to the highest business standards. Her hands-on approach gives clients consistent clarity on progress and accountability, underpinned by international experience delivering programmes across Asia and North America.
Governance only works if someone is willing to be the one who says ‘this isn’t ready to go live.’ That’s the job. I’d rather lose a deal than lose that.
